At Vet Products Direct we care for the environment just as much as we care for pets. That’s why we’ve recently made some packaging changes so that 100% of our packaging material for almost all our orders are recyclable or biodegradable and produced from sustainable sources.
All boxes and filling material are 100% cardboard and recyclable. Even our packing tape, which might look like plastic, is in fact biodegradable.
Unfortunately we still have to use a small amount of non-recyclable packaging in limited cases. For example cold items are shipped in styrofoam boxes with plastic ice packs, bottles containing liquids are plastic wrapped to avoid leaks, and some manifest or packaging labels must be secured within a plastic sleeve.
We will continue to use recyclable and biodegradable packing as much as possible and we are committed to adopting better alternatives as they become commercially viable.
